FuelTrex uses Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) to gather your data from financial institutions. By using the Services, you grant FuelTrex and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from your relevant financial institution. You agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid end user privacy policy.
FuelTrex may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on FuelTrex or the Service; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of FuelTrex; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of FuelTrex, or the public.
Tracking User Behavior
FuelTrex may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within FuelTrex, in order to determine what FuelTrex services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and targeted marketing efforts within FuelTrex to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
Automatically Collected Information
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by FuelTrex. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of FuelTrex.
If you access the Service through a mobile device, we will automatically collect information about your geo-location, including your geo-location relative to and within third-party merchant locations. In addition, we may collect information such as your mobile device ID, device type, and your use of features, functions, or notifications on the device, as well as signal strength relating to WiFi or Bluetooth functionality, temperature, battery level, and similar technical data. We may collect this information even if you are not logged in to the Service.
If you use the Service through a mobile device and you do not want us to collect your geo-location information you may change your preferences through the “Settings” feature of the FuelTrex mobile application, however, if you set your preferences so that we cannot collect your geo-location information, some of the features of the Services, such as the “Station Locator” feature, may not be available to you. In addition, you may be able to adjust the settings on your mobile device to prevent collection of your geolocation information.
Children Under Thirteen
FuelTrex does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use our website.
E-mail Communications
From time to time, FuelTrex may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.
